What is Electronic Art, how has it developed so quickly and hows is it placed in the Modern Art World. Electronic Art is captivating an audience that wants to see more

There has been an explosion of a new art on the scene and its explosive sexy, and its electronic, its Electronic Art. I have an uncanny feeling its origins go back to the swinging sixties that need the techniques needed to produce it are indeed new. I remember seeing a clip of 1960s disco, full of Hippies and they would pour oil over clear plastic film on a projector and add different coloured inks, the effects were amazing for such a primitive apparatus, but it was the 1960s and everything a possible. The one thing about this effect was it was fluid and no computer program would produce the same movement, the image was then projected on to the disco walls and it was truly psychedelic.

I have always wanted and now embrace the ability to alter any of my works, it's amazing what can be produced with any program, and now I have a massive collection of Electronic Art. It's not just another tool in producing art, its an extension of creating it. It right that there is no mess and I miss that, I love being messy in Art and Painting, I love to have my hands full of paint, it's exciting, believe me, it is. But the messy approach is sometimes more than compensated by what seems to be the immediate effect. The one thing that has not changed is that you still need that initial work, it has to still have structure, power, balance, its the computer program that changes its representation, but the original image is still there. I would not say that all images look great in Electronic Art no, but I think Electronic art always me to look at a piece of my works in a different perspective, I am not looking for more structure, more power, balance no, I'm looking for something completely different, and that's what I can not answer as I do not know the answer, at least not yet, until I do find the answer I will still enjoy producing Electronic Art
